Walden Pond

Well, As you can tell by the Title this is the "Walden Pond" and the site of Thoreau's once cabin. I have never been to this site before and I have to say it is the most relaxing place I have ever been. I now know why Thoreau lived on this pond for many years to think. This another advantage of living in New England as I was just driving and thought I would stop by.

i love this--i have been there twice; and its so quiet, to walk the perimeter with a good quiet friend, to think inside about what it would mean a long time ago to come there, and to know someone in the future, a hundred years from here and now will also walk that path around, and still Thoreau's words will echo inside them.

Thank you!

I loved your pictures of Walden Pond. They made me recall the great memories I have of growing up in New England. The fact that your pictures depict the autumn season is especially inspiring to me because that was always my favorite time of year. New England truly has the best fall colors of any section of the U S I have traveled to. You have a terrific eye for the beauty around you - keep taking what you see and sharing it with the world.
